Our Oak Table and Chair Bistro set is a perfect split between attractivness and portability. All pieces fold, making for easy storage and travel, while the chairs offer plenty of seat space and a gently sloping seat. Our spacious 26" Bistro/Dinette style table offers plenty of room for the couple to dine, or simply sit and relax. The perfect set for when space is limited.
All Things Cedar offers a variety of Western Red Cedar, Java Indonesian Teak, and Chinese Oak outdoor furniture. Chinese oak is a dense, but fine grained hardwood that is about 5% harder than red oak. The heart board is an overall wonderful light brown, while some boards have a light pinkish tint. Chinese oak is ideal for outdoor patio furniture because the tannic acids in the wood protect it from attacks by insects and fungi.
All outdoor Chinese oak products are manufactured with oak that has been kiln dried to less than 1% to prevent cupping and warping. The light oil stain provides additional weather protection and gives the outdoor furniture an overall uniform appearance. The furniture is created using mortise and tenon joinery and Swedish exterior grade Casco Nobel glue. The solid brass fittings give the furniture superior holding strength. All oak outdoor furniture is shipped fully assembled.
