Grade A teak means you will not find any knotholes or cracks in the wood and machine-made means you can rely on the quality and consistency of the construction. Kiln-dried means your patio teak furniture is dry to the core, with a moisture content of 12% to 15% – it won’t shrink, slip or move. Knots, white and dark wood areas are removed from the teak, and all fittings are made with 100% brass.
This outdoor furniture is made from 100% Java teak (tectona grandis) wood, which is harvested from government-regulated and sustainable teak plantations in Indonesia. Teak has been a big hit with shipbuilders for centuries, and today can be found in millions of backyards, and homes, worldwide.
